Welcome!
We are the Crouch End Players
Creative, Community Theatre in north London
The Crouch End Players is a friendly, dedicated and enthusiastic community theatre group based in London N8.
We meet every Wednesday evening - either in person or Zoom - depending on the rules - with additional rehearsals leading up to a production.
Our aim is to perform at least three productions per year, encouraging creativity and new writing within the group, as well as traditional theatre.
As well as actors, people to help with costume, sound, musicians and designers are all an important part of the group. We welcome non-performing as well as performing members.
Community and friendship are key to our group.
During the Covid-19 lockdowns we have adapted to the challenges, holding our online meetings, rehearsals and performances while still welcoming new members.
We are continuing to create, collaborate and perform, looking forward to when we can meet again in safety.
We value our active supporters and volunteers who help run our performances and events (ticket sales, bar staff etc).
Keep in touch - and subscribe to our new podcast!

We miss performing to our live audience - so, we've launched a podcast!
"A Christmas Carol"
from December 2020
Watch the zoom recording!
Due to cast illness and local tier status we had to adapt our planned Christmas production, scheduled at Holy Innocents church. Instead we performed a rehearsed reading on Zoom to a live audience!

The recording of the Zoom is now available to view as a video, for a donation of your choice to help support the group.
