Welcome!
We are the Crouch End Players
Creative, Community Theatre in North London
about us
The Crouch End Players is a friendly, dedicated and enthusiastic community theatre group based in London N8.
We meet every Wednesday evening, with additional rehearsals leading up to a production.
Our aim is to perform at least three productions per year, encouraging creativity and new writing within the group, as well as traditional theatre.
As well as actors, people to help with costume, sound, musicians and designers are all an important part of the group. We welcome non-performing as well as performing members.

We create, collaborate and perform.

During the Covid-19 lockdowns we adapted to the challenges, holding our online meetings, rehearsals and performances while still welcoming new members.

This year we have produced three shows.

-
"My Name is Bear" by Sue Irwin Hunt, in Priory Park
-
"No Exit by Jean Paul Sartre, upstairs at the Great Northern Railway Tavern.
-
"A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, at Holy Innocents Church (and podcast)
Community and friendship are key to our group.

In August we held a celebratory social/ cabaret night at Hornsey Bowling Club for members and a group picnic in Queens Wood for past and present members and their children.
Our Christmas Social is planned for December.
We value our active supporters and volunteers who help run our performances and events (ticket sales, bar staff etc).
